As I've been working on doing the data recovery for the crosswords that I created and published in 2000, I am disappointed in the quality of the
puzzles and the clues. I kept hoping the Crossword Fairy would clean up the obvious gaffs and make the puzzles presentable, but nothing happened.
Either she doesn't exist, or she doesn't know where I live. So here they are, warts and all. The
software I had been using produced puzzles with unusual if not unheard of words and some
very obscure names. Clues were occasionally wrong -- for example, some puzzles have Sam Adams being a former president of the United
States. Near the end of the year, I was getting so disgusted with the output of the software, that I was getting puzzles from other sources
or trying to build them by hand. I've kept these puzzles solely for archival purposes. If you're new to this website, I urge you to check
out our more current puzzles before judging us. 8-(
NOTE: Some puzzles in the first 3 months are too big to fit on one page. There's nothing I can do to make them fit. Sorry.
